Summery of the story - We follow the adventures of a young man named Ichigo Kurosaki, living his normal everyday life that is until he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper from a mysterious reaper named Rukia Kuchiki who informs him of the spirit realm.

Rukia is like a Grim Reaper of sorts and Ichigo meets others on his journey. Ichigo with his newfound powers must take on the duties of defending humans from the threat of the evil spirits he can now see and he is to guide the departed souls to the afterlife.
