Players must arrive at the shop for 6.15pm to prepare and be ready to play by 7pm till 10pm.This a Play! Pokémon event for adults 18+.
This event is where you can learn to play the Trading Card Game or play for fun, you will also be able to access future events for exclusive prizes if you join our League Team Shiny Shion's on a regular basis (Who's Shion? she's our shops mascot and she's getting the shiny treatment in celebration)
If you are already experienced thats great, if not don't worry you can play each other in friendly rounds, you will be welcomed in an environment for fans of Pokémon held in our Great Yarmouth Shop and we all start somewhere on our Pokemon Journey. Bring your best decks to battle each other to become the ultimate Pokémon Masters and win prizes!! We also sell Pokémon product in the shop to enjoy.
Here is a checklist of items to bring for a smooth game:
Pokémon Player ID! Name and date of birth for us to register you as a player at our events. Please bring on the day. If you don't have an ID, don't worry we have spare ID's to get you started.
Please bring cards and decks released in the last 2 years as recommended by the Pokemon company.
Plenty of dice or damage counters for big damage dealer cards.
Coins to flip for turns and attacks, GX counter, V Star, Burn and Poison counters. (We have these on hand if you need them)
Spare Energy Cards (Bring ones associated with your deck build if you don't have enough or need spare, we have plenty of extras to help)
Play mats or layout posters (Fear not if you don't have these, it’s totally okay it’s just to protect your cards and for newer player to help guide card placement)
This is a free event, but all players must have a ticket to show on the door, you will receive an email confirmation after purchase. We have plans for events to be held on weekends for kids and teens in the future. Look out for our social announcements - Don't miss out book today!

Important Ticket Information:
1. Tickets for events are "Non-Refundable!"!
2. Always check the date and time of the event to make sure you can make the event before purchasing.
3. If the event is cancelled by us a full refund will be processed if it’s a paid event.
4. If the customer forgets the event or is unable to attend, no refund will be given.
5. Tickets for events cannot be sold on.
7. Doors open for events at the set time listed in the event, please do not turn up too early as we need to setup!
8. Most of these ticket events are aimed at adults but later events for children will be coming soon. Loud and strong language may be heard! It is up to you as a guardian if this is a suitable event for 16-year-olds.
Warning information:
Not suitable for children under the age of 3 years to attend. Small Parts will be everywhere that could cause a choking hazard.
